Page Six As noted previously the
boys, or should I say men of Lord of the Rings have been seen around a
certain snowy weathered town with the lovely and beautiful Michelle Schrade.
When we called everyone’s publicist’s we were told there was no romance.
But maybe Mr.
Bloom should be looking at the saucy siren a little closer. His girlfriend
of one-year, Kate Bosworth, has been filming a new movie. The really juicy
part—her and her co-star have been spending a lot of time together off
the set. One of sources tells me not all the kissing is in front of the
cameras!
She lied. It took her more than twenty minutes but looking in the mirror she decided the time was well worth it. She didn’t ask where they were going so she dressed in a dressy/casual manner. A soft dress, hair pulled half up and tiny bit of make-up. It was amazing the affect gloss had on a girl’s appearance. She didn’t question why she was taking such efforts. She knew. Yet, there was also the worry that some reporter would see them all together and she certainly didn’t want to look bad. She still cringed when she saw some of the earlier photographs of herself. She wasn’t a vain person, but Lord she’d looked down right scary in a few of those shots. Rubbing her lips together and grabbing her bag she made her way to the lobby. Elijah had called to say the other guys were already headed to the restaurant and that he would take her there when she was finished getting ready. Stan, her bodyguard, was talked into letting her have a night to herself. He was also carrying every form of communicator in the world just in case she needed him. But she knew Stan better, he’d be at the back of the restaurant. He was like a big brother to her, he wasn’t happy to see his little sis out with not one, but four big Hollywood stars. She gracefully stepped out of the elevator and illuminated when she saw Elijah standing there in khakis and a nice shirt. “Hey there handsome, sorry I took so long.” His blue eyes glowed. “Well from the result, from now on you can take all the time in the world. The girls, however, are waiting for us at the restaurant. They said they didn’t see any fun cameras to catch our dinner party. Then again, I always miss them until I see the picture in the latest tabloid anyway. I’m rambling, I’m sorry.” She nodded and slipped her hand through his offered arm. “It’s no problem.” “I always get a little tense around beautiful women.” With a wink he walked her out of the main doors of the Spa to the waiting car. Funny when she first got her record deal and there were talks of her being a star, she had thought everyone traveled in limos. She found out soon enough most stars traveled in large Black SUV’s and was a little disappointed. There was something so old Hollywood about a luxurious limo. But, the SUV’s did give more privacy. But they were a bitch to climb into with heels on. Elijah came to a stop and offered his hand. “Your carriage awaits.” She looked at him with a twinkle in her eyes, “and just who is my prince charming?” “The nights still young to decide that one.” With his hand holding hers firmly, and the other rested strongly against her lower back, he helped her gracefully plop her butt in the seat. He quickly followed in and closed the door himself. Actually, it was then she noticed that he was one of the few celebrities besides herself that did things like open and close their own doors. She’d always wondered who the hell the stars thought they were, needing someone to do the basic functions in life. She had a hard time letting someone help her with coat on and off. Then again, she’d been raised to take care of herself. Her family motto had been ‘the only way to get it done right, is to do it yourself with all your heart’. “You’re awfully quiet, everything ok?” His voice broke her out of her reverie. Brushing a stray hair from her eyes she nodded. “It’s perfect.” ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* She let Elijah hold her hand and escort her to their table. As they got closer she felt her heart beat a little faster. It had to be a sin to be as good looking as these guys were. She wondered when in her life she earned the right to have dinner with four good looking men. What had she done for such a treat? A squeeze of her hand and a blink of her eye and she was in front of the hobbits, and the elf - if you were being technical. And for some strange reason, she immediately felt at ease as they all smiled up at her. Sending prayers thanking God, she gave them her best ‘I’m a star’ smile. “Lord, so beautiful,” Billy said with a grin. Standing up he came around to pull her into a Hollywood hug and kissed her cheek. “How are you?” “Grand,” she replied and winked at him. “But I would be better if I was introduced to the other two men at the table.” “Men? Oh, sweetheart, are you talking about these two blokes? I don’t rightly know if I’d classify them as men… now if you’re looking for a man…well me and you can always get our own table.” “Billy, shut up.” A hand reached out. “Orlando, call me Orli, it’s a pleasure to formerly meet you.” She thought she would faint. Those damn eyes got her every time. Or maybe it was the lips? Hell it could be his body. Then again…tangents, need to stop. “Michelle, call me Mike. The pleasure is all mine.” With a warm and sturdy handshake, he sat back down. He was clueless to how fast her heart was beating. Completely devoid of the information that her whole body felt like it was on fire and all he’d done was touch her hand. Mike looked down into a pair of familiar eyes and gave a toothy grin. “My biggest fan, I hear.” Dom smiled, a crooked little smile that tugged on her heart strings. He stood up and extended his hand. She took it and brought it to her lips for a kiss, if only to get a rise out of the group. A few hoots and hollers and everyone was laughing. It was then he leaned close to her and whispered, “I’m a wee bit nervous. If I say something completely stupid, do forgive me.” She kissed his cheek and smiled gratefully when he pulled out her chair. “No need to be nervous, I’m the one whose sitting at the table with box office hits.” Dom’s eyes lit up and he looked imploringly at each of his friends, “you see, with charm like that, how could you not love this woman?” “Excuse him, we don’t let him out often, and when we do he gets a little over zealous,” Orlando said with a smirk. “We already ordered drinks, our waiter isn’t the nicest bloke in the world, but he did bring back the drinks quickly, so I’m a fan.” Rolling her eyes she picked up the menu in front of her. “So, how come all of you decided on a spa retreat?” “It was Lij’s idea, he decided we should all bond while getting our feet massaged and relaxing. Plus, they have some amazing slopes and I’ve been dying to get out there and snow board.” Orlando said a with a grin only a true daredevil would have. She was having a hard time paying attention to anything he said. Really she couldn’t even begin to try and explain what in the name of God he was talking about. Those eyes and lips were taking every bit of her concentration. Noting her distress Dom spoke up, “I think I’m going to be getting the steak. Americans do well with beef, there are some other questionable things, but beef is good.” Shaking her head to awaken her senses to the conversations at hand she, grinned at Dom when she realized he saved her from embarrassment. “Now, this coming from a man who lives in England? Lord all they cook is beef, and chocolate. Chocolate is all England is good for.” “Hey now,” a brown eyebrow raised in challenge to her statement. Taking a deep breath she rolled her eyes. “Just being honest, well maybe chocolate and Colin Firth. But that’s about it.” “Isn’t he a little old for your tastes?” Elijah asked before anyone else could. Placing a hand to her heart, she looked down right offended. “Listen, man-child, no one, and I mean no one says anything bad about the special things in my life. And Colin is one of those special things. So back off.” “Man-child?” Billy could hardly contain his laughter, and Orlando and Dom soon joined in. “I thought you were going to be nice to me? Aren’t all pop stars supposed to be sweet as candy?” Elijah said with a pout. “I want to know what else is on this list?” Orlando posed the question taking a deep sip from his pint of beer. Taking a piece of bread and smearing some of the heated butter over it, she answered just before she took a bite. “First off, I’m not a pop star. Secondly, sweet as candy would hardly describe me, just ask my best friends, thirdly, I figured you were tired of the Frodo and Hobbit teases so I threw a different one in there. And Fourthly,” She turned to Orlando and gave him a direct hit with her baby green eyes. “in your dreams will you ever find out.” “Touche. But I will work on this. How long is the list?” “Endless,” she shot back as she licked a crumb from her finger. “Now, what are we going to eat? I’m starving.” Chapter
