On Plagarism:
Garnering inspiration from other works is one thing, but stealing someone else's thoughts is another.  Don't cheapen the writing experience.  Everyone that writes knows how much work is put into a story. Find your own voice. 

About The Fiction:
Inspired by the movie "Forget Paris" starring Billy Crystal and Debra Winger, this is a story about a couple as told through the eyes of others.  However, although inspired by it, the story is not based on the movie.  Like the film,  it is told in third person/first person monologue/dialogue where everyone BUT the main characters gets a say, except we took a different angle for this fiction.  We veered off into uncharted writing territory.  This just isn't about a whole bunch of friends getting together to chat and gossip about the relationship status of their nearest and dearest.  There is no one place, no time frame, there are no set characters, and each perspective may or may not be tied into another.  We incorporated a plot line based on one factor and one factor only...that this was a story of two people.  The writing collaboration for this comes from the minds of four individuals, and interjections by a few guest authors.  And like the premise...everyone has their own opinion.  Along with four of the gals here at Obscure Thoughts (Jess, Leila, Mary, & Soxy) this fiction features the collaborative writing talents of guest authors (watch the space below...) from other writing venues... and in the end we all converge into CHICAGO 10:24 PM.
